In the spirit of this initiative, SatrindTech is pleased to present the new application of its revolutionary electric motor drive for high power shredders – the 2-shaft industrial shredder 150 HP electric drive with automatic transmission.
SatrindTech expands this innovative motor drive, which was already successfully applied to 50 HP 2-shaft shredders, which is currently standard for its K50/M, and applying it to the more powerful 2-shaft shredder ranges. There are two versions of shredders suitable for the new motor drive – 150 HP and 100 HP.
And there is more. At Ecomondo 2018 we will reveal another recent item from our catalogue the 4S range 4-shaft shredder electric drive with power ranging from 40 to 60 HP.
The new products answer new industry needs which are today more sensitive than ever to issues such as energy efficiency, sustainability and recycling. By working closely with our customers and partners (who appreciate us for our meticulousness) we have designed products based on their feedback and the specific needs of each shredding application.
Why an industrial electric shredder with automatic transmission?
Productivity, compactness, quietness and ease of maintenance are the basic features that distinguish the automatic transmission used for the K50/M range. Building on this product’s success, we have tried to replicate its advantages and strengths in a larger and more powerful format. The 150 HP and 100 HP versions further improve motion transmission technical elements and are among the most innovative devices in the industrial shredder market.
With the 2-shaft industrial shredder 150 HP electric drive with automatic transmission you can replace the bulky and noisy hydraulic power unit with a more compact electric motor drive. This is a great competitive advantage for the customer, and a lower management cost. The operating logic is governed by a programmable logic controller (PLC) and the machine follows Industry 4.0 standards.
The best power transmission management by the 150 HP (or 100 HP) motor avoids any start-up phase peak due to high power consumption and achieves the best torque in the shortest time. As in the K50/M range, the system “combines the automatic torque and speed control capability typical of a hydraulic drive with the advantages of an electric drive.”
This technical solution can be applied with extreme flexibility to a wide range of shredding applications. The 2-shaft industrial shredder 150 HP electric drive with automatic transmission is ideal for significant performance even beyond 5 t/h. The materials that can be processed include:
