For shredding OTR (Off-The-Road) tyres up to 51″, SatrindTech proposes two-shaft shredders, suitable to a volume reduction of the material.

Before proceeding with the shredding phase, it is essential, however, to remove the two central rings of the tyre with a hydraulic debeader and, subsequently, to slice the tire with a hydraulic shrear so to get pieces with a proper size for being introduced in the shredder hopper.

After using a two-shaft shredder to get a first reduction of the material, four-shaft shredders can be used to get a regular size of the pieces with four-shaft shredders.
