The shredding of paper waste is carried out for two main purposes: shredding for recycling or shredding for destroying.
In the first case we have a volumetric reduction (done with two-shaft shredders) in order to obtain the ideal size for proceeding with baling or pressing.
In the second case, is more related to the safe destruction of the information contained in private and confidential documents, which dimensions have to be done in according to the DIN 66399 directive. This establishes the security parameters in the shredding process in relation to the size of the material once shredded. For this special purpose, SatrindTech proposes the use of single-, dedicated two-, three- and four-shaft shredders.
