Three-shaft shredders
Electric or hydraulic drive — from 22 to 235 kW
Satrindtech three-shaft shredders combine the advantages of dual-shaft shredding with superior control over output particle size. The third shaft, centrally positioned, performs a pre-screening and re-shredding function: material that has not yet reached the desired size is intercepted and reprocessed before exiting the working chamber. The result is significantly more uniform output compared to dual-shaft shredders, without the need for calibration screens as in single-shaft units.
This technology is particularly suitable for applications requiring controlled and consistent particle size: WEEE, medical waste, plastics, wood, and industrial waste. The low shaft speed reduces dust generation and heat, preserving the quality of shredded material and facilitating downstream separation operations. The range covers power ratings from 22 to 235 kW with working chambers up to 1950×1250 mm, available in electric version for compact sizes and hydraulic for large-capacity machines.
Applications / Materials
Three-shaft technology ensures uniform and consistent output, making it ideal for applications where particle size quality is critical for downstream separation, recycling, or disposal processes.

Technical specifications
The three-shaft series is divided into two main families: the K series (compact, electric drive) and the R series (high capacity, electric or hydraulic drive).
3K Series – Electric drive (22–44 kW)
3R Series – Hydraulic drive (55.5–235 kW)
