This system combines the automatic torque and speed adjustment capabilities typical of a hydraulic drive with the advantages of an electric drive. These are the main features:
Productivity – The M/AWG system optimizes productivity based on the material to be shredded: light materials are processed at high speed, while tougher materials activate the gear change, generating the torque increase necessary for shredding. For the same amount of torque developed, the automatic transmission guarantees a higher rotation speed and therefore an increase in productivity compared to a hydraulic system of equal power.
Compactness – It is a plug-in system on the machine, also suitable as a retrofit on existing plants. It eliminates the bulk of hydraulic power units and oil piping circuits.
Quietness – The acoustic emission level is that of an electric machine, significantly lower than the noise emitted by hydraulic drive systems.
Maintenance – Drastic reduction in routine maintenance costs (filters and power unit oil) and a significant reduction in any extraordinary maintenance costs (valves, pumps, and hydraulic motors).
