In case of blockage during the shredding phase, the dry friction discs slip and, through a sensor connected to the PLC, the system detects the stoppage of the shredder shafts, immediately stopping the motor rotation within a fraction of a second. This allows setting the maximum transmissible torque and adapting the system to specific operational requirements.
