RDF (Refuse\u2010Derived Fuel)<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”35″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]It\u2019s the so-called Residue Derived Fuel, obtained by treating the dry fraction of the MSW that, after having carefully removed glass, metals and inert, has suitable characteristics to be used as an alternative fuel.<\/p>\n

The mix of materials are paper (<50%), plastic (<25%), textiles (<15%), organic (<15%), wood and other (<5%).<\/p>\n

It is mainly used in cement and steel production plants and energy production plants.<\/p>\n
